Power Plant
To assemble housing casings of power plants operating at ultra-high temperatures (above 1,400°C), materials with superior heat resistance are essential. The Hwashin Technical Research Institute is developing mass-production technology for special bolts applicable to high-temperature and high-pressure harsh environments using nickel-based superalloy Inconel 718, known for excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance, hardness, and strength.
Application Fields 1

- SMR (Small Modular Reactor)
Technology Development
- Application of ultra heat-resistant alloys (e.g., Inconel 718)
- Design for durability under temperatures above 1,400°C, high stress, vibration, and thermal cycling
