Zinc and nickel electroplating, as well as hot-dip galvanizing, maximize durability against saltwater and chemicals for API 20E stud bolts. Xylan coating, optimized for marine environments, reinforces PTFE with fillers to deliver superior resistance against saltwater corrosion and high-pressure gases, with a friction coefficient of 0.02–0.10 to prevent galling. TEFLON coating provides basic chemical inertness and lubrication suitable for general plant environments. Precision Measurement Process
Complex geometries—including threads, tapers, and chamfers—are digitized using calipers, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) 3D scanners, and profile measuring instruments. Material verification is conducted through PMI (Positive Material Identification) to analyze alloy composition and heat-treatment conditions, enabling selection of materials compliant with API 20E specifications.
