FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas) is a vessel-type offshore facility capable of completing the entire production process at sea, including natural gas extraction, processing, liquefaction, storage, and transfer to LNG carriers. While structurally similar to an FPSO, FLNG facilities process natural gas instead of crude oil. Hwasein Bolt Industry supplied products for the world’s first FLNG project built by DSME (Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering) under contract with PETRONAS, Malaysia’s national oil company. This milestone demonstrates our proven capability and quality competitiveness in highly demanding offshore environments.
